Add Acquestor to ChatGPT

What you need

In a ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, or on ChatGPT Pro, on the web. In Business, an admin or owner adds it; in Enterprise and Edu, an admin can let members add it.

OpenAI's help page lists only Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu. On ChatGPT Free, Plus or Go, ask on Acquestor instead.

Add it

1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins, choose +, then Add custom MCP server.
2. Name it Acquestor, paste the server URL under Connection, choose OAuth, tick I understand and want to continue, then choose Create as a plugin.
3. Sign in to Acquestor with your email, then pick Acquestor in a new chat and ask a question.

On Pro, ChatGPT runs only tools that read, so use the Pro address: it can look things up but can't draft an inquiry or save a result to a deal. In a workspace, an admin publishes it under Workspace settings, Apps, Drafts before members see it. Older menus put this under Settings, Apps, Create.

Not yet tested with Acquestor in this host. These steps follow OpenAI's help page as read on Oct 15, 2026.

The first time you sign in

Signing in with a new email creates an Acquestor buyer account. Questions about a price, a loan or lenders work at once. The first time you search member listings, use a deal or draft an inquiry, you accept the Beta Terms and Privacy Notice once, on acquestor.com.

Founding brokers add https://mcp.acquestor.com/mcp/broker instead, which drafts listings rather than inquiries. Brokers join by invitation.

Your AI passes the figures from the listing you're looking at. Acquestor runs the numbers and never opens the listing page.

What it won't do

• Say what a business is worth. The SBA price ceiling is what a lender's rules allow, not a valuation.
• Fill a gap with a guess. When the data has no answer, the result says so.
• Act for you. An inquiry your AI drafts waits until you confirm it on acquestor.com, and it goes only to the listing broker.
• See your deals or documents. Your AI sees a deal only after you grant it, and then gets computed results and summary figures, never the documents.
• Give advice. Every result ends "Information, not advice."

What your AI receives is held by its provider under your account there, under its own terms. Revoking a grant stops new access; it doesn't recall what the AI already has.

What it costs in the beta

Free in the beta. Each result draws on your free monthly credits (500 for a buyer) and ends with what it used: 5 credits for the SBA price ceiling, a stress test or an offer comparison; 50 for proof of cash. Lookups, such as lenders, rates and manager salaries, are free for the first 1,000 calls a month, then 0.5 credits each. Nothing can be bought until billing starts at public launch.

If it doesn't work

Sign-in is refused

Brokers join by invitation, so sign in with the email the invitation went to. Buyers can create an account with any email.

No tools are listed

Disconnect Acquestor where you added it, under Connectors in Claude and Grok or Plugins in ChatGPT, and connect again. A buyer sees fewer tools than a broker; that's expected.

Your AI can't see your deal

On acquestor.com, open the deal, turn on outside AI access and pick your AI. It sees that one deal only.

A result was cut

Results stay short enough for your AI to read. A cut result says how many rows it left out and the next call to make: ask your AI for the rest. The full deal is on acquestor.com.
